Description
Field of Yellow Wildflowers - Another capture of a field of yellow wildflowers in the Texas hill country with a few mesquite trees in view. We had been traveling the back roads of the hill country looking for wildflower when we stumbled on this serene beautiful scene of thousand of yellow wildflowers. These wildflowers were thick on this Texas ranch land in the hill country with a few green mesquite trees to filter the sun glow as it was going low in the sky. I believe these wildflowers are called golden tick-seed a member of the Coreopsis family. This ranch was covered with these wonderful wildflowers as far as you could see. I can't help but believe the rain we had this spring helped them come out in these kind of numbers what a lucky find.
