Description
This collage was created with my photographs showing the existing lighthouses in the state of Delaware. The background image is a copy from an old postcard of the Cape Henlopen light which fell into the sea in 1926. The lights in the state are centered around or on the Delaware Bay starting at Cape Henlopen and going north from that point. Interestingly a number of the range lights are well inland and seeing them just doesn't make sense to the casual observer. But they are range lights to be lined up with another one on or near the water.
