The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Early morning mist burns off the creek allowing the sun to do it's work warming the blood of this local gator I found adjacent to one of our walking trails here in Cayce, SC. I knew the critter was in the area, but hadn't seen him till this particular March morning. A big one happy in our small creek call Congaree.
