A little digital fog on Smith Point lighthouse in VA.

SMITH POINT LIGHTHOUSE
CHESAPEAKE BAY IN VIRGINIA
SOUTHEAST OF SMITH POINT ON THE WESTERN SHORE

This structure was built in 1897 and is a typical caisson type lighthouse. The light is over fifty feet above the water and can be seen for over 16 miles on a good day or night.
